    • Backup/restore of the critical instrument parameters in NVRAM / BBRAM, even when the on-board battery is dead
    • Backup/restore and install of the instrument operating system on the internal hard-disk
    • Perform all of the needed hardware alignments and calibrations to efficiently phase-lock and sweep smoothly over the full 40GHz range and at various attenuation levels.
  • Warranty/Exchange/Loan/Rental: We offer warranty, and can also offer free replacement/exchange in case of issues.  We can also offer “loaner” units while your unit is being evaluated for repair, if needed, at reasonable costs.
Fresh Alignment/CAL and Fresh Battery
  • We performed all the hardware calibrations on the unit in our lab, using NIST traceable equipment:
    • LO1 calibration
    • LO2 calibration
    • Source Frequency Calibration
    • Source ALC calibration

    • Source Lock Threshold Calibration
  • We installed a fresh BBRAM battery (so, no “unable to set date/time” issues)
  • We can also provide a backup of the calibration files on a floppy disk.  We also maintain the BBRAM / NVRAM backup of the critical settings for each unit and hence can service the unit accordingly.

(Note: We calibrated the VNA in our lab using NIST traceable equipment.  However, we are not a certified calibration lab.  You will get a VNA that is usable right away, and you can decide when/if to get it formally calibrated.)
